Welcome back for another Quick Question! These are fun questions that let you get to know me and let me learn something about you, my wonderful reader. Feel free to respond in the comments here, or tweet your answer at me @anhistorianblog Today’s question is going to get to the heart of us and our childhood…

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be? A nurse, a vet, a firefighter, a zookeeper? When I was a tiny Historian, I wanted to be a ballet dancer! Turns out that I didn’t have the body for it, but I still love being able to dance and take in as many productions as possible. (You would think that I would have put two and two together about history, that I was eight years old and kept notebooks full of facts about dead monarchs and prime ministers, but surprisingly I didn’t. Go figure.)

So, what did you want to be as a kid?
Until tomorrow,
The Historian!
