Back to Exercise!

I have not been exercising as much as I should, and I am feeling it. I had recruitment two weeks ago, and I was sick just this past week, so I need to get back on track!

I have decided to actually enter my exercise plans in my planner. I haven’t had to do that in the past, but right now, I do. It’s not a lack of motivation, it’s a lack of time. I know that everything is going to be crazy with 85th coming up soon, I need to block off time for running and yoga. Running is easier- I don’t have much that I need to do on my lunch, and I have no reason to not go to the gym. But my evenings are full of many tasks as of right now, and I need to set time aside for it.

Thankfully, I can go some time with exercise and still be in shape- but I just don’t feel the same. I have more aches, I’m sore in the morning, and I just don’t move as well. Tonight- back on the yoga horse!

Do you have to specifically schedule time for exercise in the evening? Do you have any specific strategies??

Until tomorrow,

  • I don’t personally schedule my exercise except for the day before as needed when I’m going to the gym. However, some day I may need to with how crazy life can get sometimes and I will do it then. Scheduling is a great way to make it a priority and make sure you fit it in!

    • I am hoping that it helps!! It’s more for exercising in the evening- I can always run at lunch! Hopefully if I “schedule” it in the evenings, I will make sure to keep my evenings open for it! 🙂

  • I try to fit my personal yoga practice in before I start my day, even if I only get on my mat for 10 minutes some days – I figure it’s better than not doing.
