Top Instagram Posts, May 2017

Going through all of my Instagram posts for the month, it is interesting to see which posts are popular! Sometimes I think that it will be popular and is barely seen, other times I simply add them because I think they are fun and they catch on like wildfire. It’s nice to see that my own photography and editing skills are improving, and that I strike a good balance of photo types. These are my most popular Instagram from May, I hope you enjoy!

The Bow Valley Parkway is a pretty spectacular entry into Banff- you KNOW you are in the mountains. As long as it isn’t raining or foggy, it’s always a gorgeous view that reminds you just how small you are in comparison to the mountains and nature!

My Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf- I am wearing one as I type this. So comfortable, can be used as literally anything. I used mine on the plane as a good to cover my head and sleep, and a blanket (why are planes so weirdly cold???), and then a cardigan/ wrap when I landed. At only $48 CAD, it is one of the most affordable Lulu pieces out there!

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School always has the most beautiful displays! They usually showcase an upcoming school or a piece of the company’s history. Although pointe shoes typically look fairly beat up pretty early on, it’s always fun to see when they are untouched and still have their “new shoe” sheen!

The Fairmont Banff Springs is a gorgeous and fascinating hotel in the heart of the Rockies, and if you are ever driving through, you have to stop! The staff are fantastic, the food and service is wonderful, and the setting takes you back a century to when luxury travel really meant something.

As you can see, my Banff pictures were very popular! I loved the photos that I took on our early morning walks; everything is clear and calm, the water is so green, and the dogs were able to calm down. Thor looks so handsome here while he checks out Bow River 🙂 His first trip was a success!
