S’Mores Bar- Make It Monday

In the spring and summer, I tend to gravitate towards more no bake recipes, as you don’t need your house to be warmer than it is already is and I usually find that they are faster to make! (When spring and summer combined are 5 months total, you have to maximise time outside. I think that s’mores are a favourite among most North Americans but if you don’t want to actually have a fire, you can get the delicious taste of a s’more without the work of a fire with this recipe!

Summer Skincare Routine, Style File Friday

The summer- the time for most of us where we try to take advantage of the warm weather and do all of those outdoorsy activities that are difficult to do in the extreme cold and metres of snow. This week is all about summer!

(Believe it or not, there is not a whole lot of medieval history and European culture in the middle of the prairies…) However, I’m going to find the interesting and good in Winnipeg, and enjoy myself this summer! Style Saturday- 4 July 2015

Happy 4th of July to all of my American readers! And happy Saturday to the rest! As I said earlier, I did a tad more summer shopping! I never thought I would say this, but I think I am done for a while- I should have enough clothes to last me for the summer without doing laundry every 3 days. This shopping trip was mostly about finding clothes to wear to on my trip to see M in SLC later in July- it is literally a dessert, and my Canadian clothes are no match for that heat. So Vicki came with me, and this is what I found:
