Snapshot- 7 February 2018

For anyone who follows my Instagram account, you will know that I am getting my very own Westie in the spring. I’ve been slowly getting things ready so that she will have a doggo friendly home when she gets here.

Well, it turns out that I will actually be getting her at the end of February! My brother is the best and made sure that she will have her very own Lambiekins when she comes home. Now I’ve only got a few weeks to get everything ready, and I’m rather like a chicken with my head cut off!
What is your dog’s favourite toy?
Until tomorrow,

  • I’ve got a chewer. Always has been. So he needs hard core chewing. I tried a million little chew toys and he would rip through an “indestructible” kong in 15 minutes. Now I stick with bones filled with stuff. That keeps him happy when the family is away.
He also like chasing tennis balls.

    • I’m finding out that Agnes is indeed a chewer- she somehow opens up the seams of every stuffed toy, and doesn’t seem interested in hard toys! I’m hoping now that she is almost done with teething, she eases up a little bit. Those tiny teeth can remove stitches like a stitch ripper!

  • I buy my dog toys from Ikea. Baby toys from Ikea. When I first got him, it was a little brown teddy bear and it lasted for EVER until it was so gross we had to throw it away. Now he has a bunny. Since they are actually baby toys, the eyes and noses are sewn on so if they get chewed off, the dog can’t swallow little bits. And they survive YEARS of play. So much better than any “dog toy” I’ve paid for.
