Homemade Dog Treats

If you have ever had a puppy, you will quickly learn that healthy and nutritious dog treats are far more expensive than the most premium dog food, as you can easily go through 100+ in one puppy class! I was doing research on alternatives to commercial training treats when one of my coworkers made training treats herself and brought them in for all of our dogs- these are an easy and nutritious way to train your dog at home and possibly use up some leftovers around your house.

Winnipeg Westie Walk, 2017

There’s nothing like seeing a field full of Westies and realising that you might not have time to pet them because there are so many of them. So, here are some of my favourite shots from the 2017 Winnipeg Westie Walk!

Daisy’s View of Langley, Travel Thursday

Langley is a small seaside town on Whidbey Island that is picturesque and quaint, made for strolling. Of course I demanded to take Daisy for walkies on this trip- she is the absolute best dog for walking. Not only do you get to follow her carrot tail on her inwestigations, she loves being on leash and doesn’t pull or wander off in the least. We only walked for about half an hour but the rain held off and it was a wonderful way to start the day!
