You would think that I would get tired of spending time every day reading blogs, but I really don’t! I love finding hidden gems and bloggers that I completely agree with and decide in my mind that we would be fantastic friends. Now that I’ve probably caused some worried thoughts, onto the blogs I am following!
Sarah Goethe Jones’ blog is wonderful mix of baking, travel, etiquette, fashion, and anything else you could imagine! She graduated from the Parsons New School of Design, and you can see that eye in the large majority of her posts. If I am ever lucky enough to meet her, I will most likely attempt to have her plan an entire wardrobe for me! Favourite Posts? The Glossy Polished Look that pretty much sums up my own aesthetic approach, and Welcome Summer! where we get to see some of her gorgeous watercolours from Parsons!
Other than the cats (I’m obviously a dog person, myself), I love everything about this blog. It’s mostly about planners, which I don’t plan to partake in but I love to see, but there are also other crafts and a good amount of reading mixed in! Favourite posts? 2016 Reading Challenge and Planner Spread: February 1-7.
Irish Travel Key allows me to relive my time in Dublin while still discovering new places and sights. She has a wonderful way with words and really takes me back to Ireland! Favourite posts? Discover Dublin: Walking Tour of 1916, which I’m hoping M is up for doing when we visit again, and One Afternoon in Kilkenny!
I actually discovered the Lilac Press when she followed me on Bloglovin’- which seems crazy that someone with her size would follow me! Leigha’s blog is a lifestyle blog that balances several categories successfully, my favourite being Style. I very much appreciate that she isn’t always in a ton of make up for her photos, which I’m finding rare for blogs nowadays! Favourite posts? Primary Colours and A Little Piece of History!
This is the blog arm of an online stationery store, and I love following along! Kelly posts items from a variety of different stationery companies, and it is very interesting to see what the trends in paper are. As someone who tries to send more and more correspondence through the mail, it is great for ideas! Favourite posts? New in From Kate Spade New York and Bon Voyage with Rifle Paper Co!
Honourable Mention
Kate is a high school senior who is blogging her way through her last year of high school! I love her DIY and organisation posts; super fun and easy to duplicate! Check out How to Get Organised.
As wells, please let me know if you visit any of these blogs, and if you have any recommendations!!
Until tomorrow,
The Historian!

Thank you for putting my blog on your list (even though you aren’t a cat person, too– that makes it doubly special!) I’m so happy that you enjoy my planner posts. 🙂
Of course!! I now find myself looking forward to them!! 🙂
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thanks for sharing these! I shall check them out. 🙂
