Becca, of Married Cat Lady fame, has very kindly nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award! This is a particularly lovely award to receive, as it is so nice to know that you can make someone smile with your blog 🙂 Becca’s blog is a great mix of honesty and hilarity, and you find yourself laughing a little too loudly at The Lawful Brothel and The Deathly Vinos! Before continuing on, I will give you a few moments to make your way through Becca’s blog!……… Now that you are back, let’s get to it!
So, I was nominated for the Real Neat Blog Award by one of my favourite new blogs, The Loyal Brit Wit. I discovered it in the WordPress Community Pool about a month back, and I love her daily posts that give a glimpse into what a particular British slang word might look like when fleshed out into a story. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been caught laughing to myself after reading this by numerous people- totally worth it! My favourite recent posts? Programme and Whinge! So, shall we get on with this?
Lindsey of the fantastic The Lindsey Vibe has very kindly nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award! Lindsey’s blog is bright and fun and will make you want to do more, no matter what it is you are doing. My favourite recent posts from Lindsey are the Jumbo Tassel Paper Clip, Freebie Friday (Sassy Edition), and Lilly Pulitzer Agendas! I’ll wait here while you go and read her blog… Now that you are back, we will get onto the meat of the post!
Blogging groups- some bloggers swear by them, some have never been in one before. They can five people or five thousand people, could be organised around a theme, a goal, or even an area. Some are easily found and some are harder to find than Fight Club. No matter what kind of blogging group it is, I’ve found that the way to approach them doesn’t change. These are five biggest things that I’ve learned from the blogging groups that I’ve been in, and I hope that it helps you, too!
I am opening up to guest posts on the blog once a week, on Tuesdays! Please email me at email@example.com if you are interested in contributing a guest post- topics may include but are not limited to reading, baking/cooking, style, travel, and career. Posts should be roughly between 700-1000 words, and should include a minimum of two images. I personally love discovering new blogs, and would love to showcase more to my readers!
Any questions and proposals may be left in the comments or emailed to me!
Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a wonderful summer, and that everyone who had/has a long weekend is enjoying their free time! Today’s question is going to be very quick- I’m hoping you will be so lovely as to quickly answer the poll down below on what you would like to see on the blog in the next 2-4 months!
The main aspect of blogging that I am still here for is the community. So, when I sat down and thought about the fact that my blogging might be cutting down on my exercise/ fitness time, I figured that there may be other bloggers who feel the same way. I could have simply written this down in a notebook but I figured that I would share this if anyone else is interested!
Everyone starts blogging for different reasons. Some start to be an influencer, some to make money, some to promote a service or a product, and some to update friends and family. I started (and continue) blogging for the community; I love meeting new people across the globe and getting a peek into what they do and how they think! Yes, you can always buy followers or sign up for services that use your account to like and follow other accounts, but I don’t personally understand the draw. Today, I’m going to be sharing my tips and advice on making blogging connections and widening your sphere!
Hello hello, it’s that time again! The Quick Question- I’m gonna get to know you, you are gonna get to know me, and hopefully we all have a little fun. Sometimes blogging can be a little distancing, because I’m writing it but I’ve no idea how you are reading and interpreting it. The little things are what make life what it is, and this little thing is more important than some people might think…
This post is due to Charlotte and her lovely nomination for the Mystery Blogger Award! I particularly love this award given my fascination with mysteries- I’m hoping that I can still maintain an air of mystery throughout my life. (“Was she a professional cookie maker? Do dogs seek her out? Can she really cartwheel through the snow?” These are all questions I hope people will ask about me.)
