The story of how my blog started is fairly uneventful! I was going through my regular role of blogs to read, when I figured I may as well start my own. Many bloggers blog full time, and I enjoy reading those, but I enjoy reading blogs more when they aren’t entirely professional. I am a regular person, and I like to read about regular lives! I decided to see if anyone would want to read my thoughts 🙂
Advice for new bloggers? Hmmm, good question! It has been over a year, but I still feel like a new blogger- I will give it a shot, though. First and foremost, be flexible. If you can only get 1-2 posts published a week, great! If you find that another lay out features your image heavy posts, go with that one instead! If a one-off DIY post takes off, try your hand at another! Secondly, write what you would like to write. If you like writing about the different napkin patterns you collect, go for it! This isn’t for anyone else, it’s for you. And finally, don’t be afraid to try new things– I would like to think we are a pretty friendly community here 🙂
