And now I am heading home. It was absolutely wonderful to spend a full week with M! I am grateful that we are able to spend as much time together as we do, a lot of long distance couples aren’t able to travel back and fourth as much as we do. Being that M is moving at the end of the summer, this was my last trip to SLC! It’s physically beautiful, but the people are weird, so I think a move is wonderful for him!
M’s family was incredibly welcoming, as always. I know a lot of people struggle with their significant other’s family, but M’s is pretty much the best you could hope for. Friendly, welcoming, and very funny- I feel fairly lucky on that front.
We did a lot in the week! Some shopping, a hike up at Brighton, batting cages/mini-golf/go-karts, movies, arcades, and eeeeven walking a certain little Westie. (Daisy!!! It’s Daisy!!!)
