More ornaments for Blogmas! (I cannot stress how much I love Ornament of the Day posts, I wait for them all year.) Our Christmas tree is truly a treasure trove of different childhood and family memories, trips, gifts, and favourites. You can tell a lot about someone by their tree, and I am no exception. However, I have to admit that I don’t have a lot of pop culture references on my tree. (More because it is difficult to find…) However, this Audrey Hepburn ornament is one of my favourites! There is nothing like Holly Golightly to add whimsy to your tree…

Audrey Hepburn Ornament
Enter: my Audrey Hepburn ornament. Hepburn is one of my favourite actresses, like many people. He had a grace and an elegance that is rare to see. My love affair with her started when I saw Funny Face. (A musical with Hepburn and Fred Astaire?? YES, PLEASE.) However, I do also love Holly Golightly, because who doesn’t love Audrey in that classic Givenchy gown? I think I most appreciate that it is complete with window for that iconic scene. I must say, Hallmark does make some fantastic ornaments (despite the price tag). And yes, my dad does have a John Wayne ornament that also goes on the tree!

My holiday history guide includes many suggestions for decorating your tree, including where you can find unique and sentimental ornaments. I have all the historical inspiration you will need for your holiday season, including decorating ideas, book recommendations, and traditions to start. This year can be an incredible and special holiday season for you, no matter where you are or who you are with! You can purchase it here!
Do you have any pop culture ornaments on your tree?
Cheers,
The Historian
