This Music Monday is the summer jams I listen to. I’m all for Top 40, so this is a mesh of different songs I’m listening to right now!
1. Classic– MKTO
This is about as classic (pun!) summer pop as it gets!
2. No Good For You– Meghan Trainor
Nice and mellow without making you tired! Also, wins an award for the line, “He’s such a tool, girl”.
3. Outside– Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding
Good beat, nice build-up!
4. I Want You Back– Colbie Caillat
I will love any cover of this song, but I find this one particularly refreshing, even four years on!
5. Zero to Hero– The Muses
Seriously, who doesn’t love the sassy Muses from Hercules?? No idea why, but I always watch this movie in the summer
6. Love Runs Out– One Republic
A driving beat, you can get anything accomplished while listening to this.
7. King of Anything– Sara Bareilles
Sara has such a fantastic voice, as well as a talent for the piano, and this song is no exception!
8. I’ve Got the World on a String– Michael Bublé
This song will forever remind me of walking through Dublin in the summer of the best year of my life!
9. Still Into You– Paramore
I can’t NOT listen to this song, that would be absurd.
