Merry Christmas, dear reader! (Or Happy Christmas for my readers in the United Kingdom and Ireland!) Although this Christmas may look quite different from the celebrations that we are used to, I hope that you are are having a lovely day. If you are feeling alone or disappointed, or simply want someone to chat with, feel free to reach out on social media. I always love chatting with readers, and I know that today might be tough. Wherever you are, I’m sending festive thoughts!

Today will be a quiet day for me! Agnes (the westie above and below) and I will be going for a walk if it does warm up, and enjoying a nice dinner. And of course, like many of you, I will be binge watching Bridgerton on Netflix. (And yes, I will have my thoughts/review up on Saturday for you, never fear!) I have to say, a good Regency period drama is just the thing to lift the end of this bizarre and often sad year. I hope that if you aren’t watching Bridgerton, you’ve got books, movies, games, or whatever else you love to keep you happy and busy!

Also, my daily posts for Blogmas will continue to the end of 2020, so you have six more days of posts to keep you entertained. (After that, the blog goes back to Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday posts as normal.) If you want to catch up on previous Blogmas posts, you can find them in reverse chronological order here!
Have a very Merry Christmas, dear readers!
Cheers,
The Historian
