Music is a big part of the holiday season for most of us. We hear it in stores (whether we want to or not), we hear it in holiday productions or performances, we hear it on the radio. And music is tied to a lot of our memories, especially during the holidays. I shared a holiday playlist last year, and I really enjoyed putting it together for you lovely readers. So, I’ve put together 2 new Christmas Spotify playlists for you and your ears!

An Historian’s New Christmas Playlist
This is a playlist for all of us who enjoy new Christmas music! Or new-ish… We’ve got “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” from NSYNC, “Snowman” from Sia, and of course, “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. It is more of a radio-esque playlist with upbeat songs to keep you motivated while you bake or get that final bit of vacuuming done!
An Historian’s Christmas Movie Playlist
If you are a fan of Christmas movies far and wide, this is the playlist for you. It’s got our favourite songs from new and old classics, and there is something for everyone. I am a big fan of this playlist for holiday parties in particular, as people tend to have that fun moment of realisation when they recognise the song. Who can say no to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Sam the Snowman?
An Historian’s Classic Christmas Playlist
In case you missed this one last, I’ve included my classic Christmas playlist again. This has a good range of songs for any crowd and for any occasion. This is a longer playlist at just over two hours, so this might be a good choice for your next holiday party.
