It is hard to believe that we are almost at the official start of the summer again (here in the Northern Hemisphere). As always, the year is moving along. (In fairness, I think that the Coronation did really make it seem like time was passing more quickly- there was always something coming up next.) This is a big summer for me personally, so I wanted to share my blog plans for the summer early. Here are the An Historian About Town Summer 2023 plans!
An Historian About Town Summer 2023 Schedule
I do recognise that I am just a history and culture blog and that I’m not changing the world, but I do have some lovely readers to visit my blog every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday to see what new post is up.
The blog will be on hiatus for roughly five to six weeks. The last blog post will be going up on Friday 30 June and I will be returning on Wednesday 9 August. When I return back on 9 August, my regular posting schedule will resume as normal:
Monday: History
Wednesday: Book Bite
Friday: Style File Friday
Sunday: Culture/Books
What Am I Up to this Summer?
I have much going on this summer, it’s a big year for me! I’m going to be moving in July (so things have already gotten quite busy), so that’s a massive item. I’m hoping that I will be able to unpack and settle in within July.
And outside of my normal realm, I’m going to be going to a concert! Twice is one of my favourite musical groups, and they are doing another world tour this year. (That’s only a 2-day trip, but still exciting for me!) For the Swifties reading this, this will be my Eras tour.
Of course, I will also be going to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Ballet in the Park at the end of July. I’m not sure what pieces are going to be performed yet, but I’m always happy to enjoy ballet on an outdoor stage.
