History in the Making

Snapshot- 2 May 2018

When it’s grey and dreary and dusty, you have to find the beauty and celebrate it where you can…

Juliet ballet costume
And it’s usually found at the ballet for me! The Royal Winnipeg Ballet will be performing Romeo and Juliet next year, and so of course I had to drool over the embroidery on this costume. If only our every day clothing had this much detail in it… A girl can dream! Tonight I will be heading to the final production of the company this evening, Carmina Burana, and I will be sharing my thoughts tomorrow morning!
What’s happening in your week?
Until tomorrow,

  • Have you ever made it to the V&A in London on a UK visit? They have an amazing Theatre & Performance collection, so fascinating! Well worth a visit on your next trip if you can! My favourite collection has to be the jewellery though, they had a few of Elizabeth Taylor’s pieces when I was there last! x

  • I know it’s not quite our era, but you would look amazing if you dressed up in that!! 😀
