We are back again with another London Christmas tradition! Last week we kicked off Blogmas weekends with the St. Pancras Christmas Tree, a sight that welcomes millions of travellers each holiday season. And we took a trip through London to see some of its most iconic Christmas lights, including Oxford Street and Regent Street. Today we are heading back inside for one of London’s most beloved stores- Liberty London. I will be sharing some of my favourites from the Liberty London 2025 Christmas decorations!
Liberty London 2025 Christmas Decorations
Not only does Liberty create some fairly spectacular windows for passersby on Great Marlborough Street to enjoy, they also create incredible displays throughout the whole store. Different departments get into the spirit with integrated displays, and as someone who loves Christmas, I more than appreciate just how much thought goes into their displays. (Liberty, if you are looking for someone to consult on the history of Christmas, I am happily available to you!!) We’ve got classic displays mixed with beloved Liberty patterns and it makes for a pretty magical store. Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, give your time to walk throughout the entire store!
“The Making of Christmas” Theme
Liberty’s 2025 Christmas theme is “the making of Christmas”, which is a perfect theme for a store that is so closely linked to several different arts. While Christmas is always a major event at Liberty, the 2025 holiday season is even more special as the store is celebrating its 150th anniversary. Throughout the windows, you can see the Liberty elves hard at work (and at their hijinks) to create a special Liberty Christmas, including dipping into a bubble bath.
Moving inside the store, you can find tablescapes, games rooms, and even mannequins ready for a holiday party. And what would Liberty be without their showstopping central atrium…

The Liberty Elves
The elves you see throughout the windows and displays were created for the 2025 display, although they absolutely feel like they are already in the fabric of the store. There are 25 different elves to discover and while they share the same identical faces, you will notice several different iconic Liberty prints on their arms and legs.
The Good Ship Liberty
The Good Ship Liberty is suspended at the heart of Liberty for Christmas this year! Mimicking the ship that is on the weathervane atop the store, the ship is crewed by… you guessed it, the Liberty elves! Made by hand, you can see this gorgeous ship is overflowing with presents as the elves make their way delivering gifts. The Liberty elements, like the iconic fabric sails, make this a showstopping display. If you want to truly enjoy all the ship has to offer, I would recommend admiring it from all four sides on each level. There are details to enjoy from each viewpoint that should not be missed!
My Favourite Liberty Windows
I suppose for Londoners, speedwalking past Liberty at Christmas is a very normal thing. However, I had to stop and take my time to truly enjoy the windows. While some stores are toning down their Christmas windows, Liberty London has fully committed and it is the perfect way to get into the spirit.
The bubble bath window was very fun- I love that Liberty very much captures the whimsy and pure joy of the holidays. A little messy and chaotic perhaps, but still entertaining. And of course, I had to find the window with the bookshelves. (Liberty, if you would see fit to have a book department, I would be eternally grateful!)
