History in the Making

Earl Grey Recipes

know that there are a lot of tea drinkers who do not like David’s Tea type teas. I do, but I understand why people might not. I enjoy flavoured teas as much as straight teas. But, that is not my point for this post, my point is: David’s has been posting different tea recipes each week, and I haven’t had a chance to try any of them. However, I do have a couple tea themed recipes of my own that I do enjoy making.

Earl Grey Muffins
– These are smaller muffins, but they are relatively easy to make and they are lovely warm from the oven! This is the recipe I use, and I find I don’t have to make any adjustments: http://www.tastebook.com/recipes/3322260-Earl-Grey-Tea-Muffins. I sometimes will try different Earl Greys, I haven’t had any forerunners yet, they are all delicious!
Earl Grey Latte
-I like to steep a strong cup of Earl Grey, or more often, Cream of Earl Grey, usually half of the mug. I then boil the milk, typically with 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Froth the milk, then slowly pour the milk into the tea. Scoop the foam onto the top of your latte, and voila!
Next on my list to try, Earl Grey Shortbread!
Until tomorrow,
The historian!
