Travel Thursday, Seattle and Washington

All in all, I had an absolutely fantastic trip to Washington! It was my fourth trip to see M there, and I’m finally starting to feel comfortable there. I’m remembering where things are, I have favourites, and I can see myself living there. These are some of my favourite pictures of the trip; they aren’t necessarily big moments but they are memories, and I’m excited to share them today! 
Greenbank Farm is still one of my favourite places on Whidbey Island. It’s gorgeous and an easy walk and Daisy just loves it! Also, once again, I am in love with her coat and it took all of my willpower not to steal it.



Daisy is worried after 2016, too- what is a Westie to do??

We had breakfast at Lowell’s in Pike Place Market. I wasn’t sure about it at first, because I’m not a fan of seafood in any way, shape, or form. However, they have a fantastic breakfast menu and it has huge portions. Definitely stop by if you have time!



Our Seattle Symphony selfie! It was a fantastic performance, and I loved the mixing of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with later compositions.

Clearly at a brewing company I would get a pretzel and a hot cocoa…


The views from the Mukilteo ferry are pretty astounding. I think I would be happy to ride back and forth to enjoy this!

Yes, that’s me, a prairie girl, looking out on the Pacific Ocean. (Okay, it’s one of the straights but that’s the ocean for me…)

The Port Townsend ferry is smaller but you have longer loading time, allowing time for pictures like this….

Daisy is my souldmate, and nothing will change that.

Sure, I had a bumpy ride on the way to the Seattle (See: Westjet is the Worstjet) but I had a fantastic time there!
