The Princess and the Goblin…

Now I know that with my new posting schedule, I typically don’t post on Tuesdays to give myself and you as a reader a bit of a break. However, this is going to be a fast but fun post on something that is coming up very soon- The Princess and the Goblin!

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is staging Twyla Tharp’s The Princess and the Goblin for the second time (the first being in 2012), and after seeing the open rehearsal on Friday evening, it looks like it will be amazing. It has a great storyline, it not only features the main company, but several children from the Recreational and Professional Divisions of the RWB school, and the costumes look gorgeous! It will be running from Wednesday, September 27 to Sunday, October 1, at Winnipeg Centennial Concert Hall, and if you happen to be in Winnipeg, I would highly recommend that you grab tickets while you can!!

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!
