Ornament of the Day is back again! (Don’t worry, I’ve got more than enough to keep us going.) Our Christmas trees are finally up, so I get to see all of my ornaments in their festive home. (You can find pictures of them in my history of Christmas trees post!) I already shared an ornament that I made, one of my little gingerbread cross-stitch ornament. However, I wanted to share another handmade ornament that I’ve been able to add to my tree. Today I want to shine the spotlight on small businesses for today’s Ornament of the Day…
Handmade Ornament
As I said above, I did share a cross-stitch ornament that I made myself. However, I also made this Christmas tree ornament. It’s quite an easy pattern, and I was able to go from start to finish in less than an honour. (And I’m not that skilled…) This ornament is one of my favourites though, because I was able to support a fellow small business.
Diana Watters Handmade
This ornament kit (and three others) are from Diana Watters Handmade. She is a Canadian creator based in Montreal, and numerous different cross-stitch and crafting kits.This season more than ever, it is important to support small businesses. After setting up my own Etsy shop, I have some idea what goes into running a small business there, and I knew that I wanted to support other smaller businesses.
