I wanted to do a follow up to my “History Behind An Historian About Town” post for a few reasons. First off, it was surprisingly popular with everyone and has started some wonderful discussions. (Please always reach out if you would like to chat, I promise I am friendly!) Secondly, I’ve had a few different things in the works for a while that are finally coming together/solidifying for followers, and I think it is the right time to share them. Today I’m going to be chatting about everywhere you can find An Historian About Town!

Once the end of November rolls around, there will be daily posts for Blogmas, but the regular schedule stays for now. #AnHistorianReads Book Club
The #AnHistorianReads book club started up again in April with Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey, and then Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cranford. We are now about to pick up Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables on September 12th, and anyone is welcome to join! You can find the Facebook group here. We are a friendly and welcoming group, and it is an open-ended discussion- you don’t need to come up with questions or answer anything specific.
Note: We remove people who aren’t participating in the current book, but if you would like to rejoin to discuss a new book, please feel free to request. (Not everyone feels comfortable with lurkers, please don’t take offense!)
25 Royal History Facts
I am now thrilled to say that I have a royal history free download to offer. It is 25 interesting and odd British royal history facts, and I hope that there are at least a few new facts to everyone. I’ve been working on this for a while, and thankfully with the help of a virtual assistant (by way of my lovely host, Lyrical Hosting- thank you all!!), it is finally ready to go. I”m going to keep working on my royal history travel guides, but in the meantime, I hope that you enjoy this freebie!
