History in the Making

Style Saturday- 26 September, 2015

This Style Saturday will be chronicling my first successful shopping trip at Marshall’s! Jillayne was amazing, she is truly a shopping genius- and she was willing to share that talent with me, thankfully. I wasn’t 100% sure what I was looking for- mostly Kate Spade, to be honest. And sweaters. I found the Kate Spade Margot purse, in leopard print. However, I am never 100% sure about vinyl here and I wasn’t sold. I also found a nylon KS purse- also not sold. Moving on to what we did find!

1. Kate Spade Tablet Case

Jillayne spotted this, and I adore it! It fits my little tablet with room to spare for a notebook, which solves my “how do I find a folio for my Google tablet” problem nicely. I love Kate Spade’s accessories- I think her designers have a knack for picking perfect quotes! If you are wondering, I do think I would be darling at being a millionaire.

2. Polo Ralph Lauren V-Neck Cabled Sweater

I am trying to grow my sweater collection for a few reasons: 1. They are warm. 2. They are office appropriate. 3. I just plain like them. Jillayne also spotted this red Ralph Lauren sweater, and I figured the worst thing that happened is that I wouldn’t like it. Well, I did, and it was only $40- which is definitely a steal for Ralph Lauren! It is quite soft, and will be nice and warm for the office. (Note: it is not as bright as it appears.)

3. Pugs and Kisses Notecards/ Gold Foil Westie Thank You Notecards

Not a clothing item, but she also spotted these two sets of cards, and I knew I had to have them!

All in all, a sweater, a tablet case, two sets of notecards, and tea for just over $100! I am mostly just going to give Jillayne a budget and let her shop for me, because she is literally the shopper I know.

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!
