Back again with a sneak peak at my week! You get to see what I’m up to and hopefully get excited with me. After Banff, I assumed that my week was going to be pretty quiet but it turns out it ended on a pretty high note…

Last night, I was able to catch Vespers, the end of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s season! I’m typically all about the story ballets but this was absolutely fantastic. I’m going to do a full post on the show this week, but I found that it showcased dancers that haven’t necessarily had a spotlight recently and it was wonderful to get to know more dancers! However, more importantly- there was a meet and greet with some of the dancers after the show, and I was able to speak quickly with one of my favourite current dancers, Beth Lamont! There is so much personality in her dancing without being overwhelming or distracting, and I wish my own dancing was half as nuanced. She was so kind, and it was a pretty fantastic end to my week!
What have you been up to this week?
Until tomorrow,
The Historian!
