Style File Friday- Autumn 2018 is Near

Hello everyone! I’m getting quite excited for the next phase of my blog (which will be relaunching on 1 September!)- in case you were worried, style will still be a regular feature on my blog! As I am currently in a year of style education, I am still making my way through as many style related books, documentaries, and websites as I can, and I am loving being able to share that knowledge with you! Today is a style fact-finding mission for the blog, and I am hoping that you will be able to help me out…

I am a big fan of fall dressing, and I could wax lyrical about how much I love plaid in it’s many forms. However, I do want to write about what you my lovely readers are interested in and what you find useful. This poll will let me know what you would like to see in the fall, and I would most appreciative if you could select your choice (or add an option that isn’t there).

In terms of my own personal style and what I am wearing, I would recommend keeping up with my Instagram! On my Instagram stories I share my OOTD (outfit of the day) and usually why I’ve chosen to wear that piece, and on Friday I like to share one of my favourite outfits from the week or favourite pieces from my closet. I would also love to connect with you on Instagram, please feel free to leave your handle in the comments!

Finally, I am wondering if you would be interested in knowing what I’m purchasing for my trip to the UK in February- the flight is officially booked, and I will be there from Feb 8th to Feb 24th! I’m very particular about what I am purchasing/looking for, so I could share what I look for in travel clothing, why I am buying what I am, and what specific pieces I am investing in. Is this something you would be interested in?

Are you shopping for summer pieces on sale right now, or staking out your favourite fall items?

Until tomorrow,
The Historian

  • Ooo that outfit is super cute! I am loving this new layout – but you don’t have a like button anymore! Can you bring it back? 🙁

    • Thank you so much!! It’s so light and simple, it’s perfect for summer/fall 🙂 I *think* I’ve got it in there now!! (There are so many things that I am not noticing myself- that’s probably a bad sign haha)

    • Thank you, Rachael!! Cambridge- mostly just wandering haha, also seeing Ely Cathedral. Bath will the Fashion Museum and much Jane Austen! And then the rest will be London- the V&A for the Dior exhibit, shopping, and probably more history than anyone should take in 🙂 Also, meeting up with bloggers and friends!
