Style Saturday- 21 May 2016

Helllllo all, happy May-Long-Saturday to everyone! I hope you are enjoying this fine weekend day 🙂 As everyone knows, I have been slowly building my work wardrobe. I had two bounce back passes for RW & Co. Those “Spend $100, save $50” cards get me at RW & Co. (I should probably get some sort of partnership with RW & Co going; I’ve sold probably $1500 of their merchandise to friends and coworkers in the past 3 months….) I really focused on shorter sleeved shirts, as I am sorely lacking in that area.

Flutter Sleeve T-Shirt With Dog Print, RW&C0

If you don’t know somehow, I. LOVE. DOGS. So, when I saw this adorable blouse with a bulldog print, I knew that I had to have it! It looks beautiful and abstract from further away, and adorable close up. The back is a softer cotton with a keyhole, and is cool and light for the office. (Loki approved of it 🙂 )

Flutter Sleeve T-Shirt With Lady Lace Print, RW&C0

I am loving pale pink, and I think that this blouse looks chic while still maintaining that fun  and young aspect. It is a silky material with another keyhole back. I am excited to wear this with my pale pink pleated skirt and black blazer.

Cap Sleeve Linen T-Shirt With Woman Print, RW&C0

This is a thin linen shirt, with the perfect blue accent! This is fairly see-through, but I do have a navy tank from Smart Set that pairs perfectly. This piece is perfect for the office and for casual wear. (Not sure why they’ve given the model such an odd cut and style…) I don’t own many cap sleeves, so this is quite a departure!

The rest of my RW & Co purchases will be on next week’s Style Saturday! For the month of June, Style Saturdays will look quite different. I plan on wearing at least 3 unique outfits a week, I will be documenting that on Saturdays. I want to challenge myself to think of my pieces differently! Fingers crossed I can make this happen 🙂

What is your favourite store for your professional wardrobe?

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!

Fortunately I don’t need a professional just yet! But if I did, I would consider all these things good options. My favourite clothing store in general is Lazy Oaf, but unfortunately they’re really expensive so I’ve just got to browse for now and pray that one day I’ll be able to afford it!
