A huge thank you to Short Sweet and Lovely for nominating me for the Liebster Award!! You are absolutely lovely (pun intended)!  If you haven’t checked out her blog, I recommend you head there straight away, I will wait 🙂 One of the things that I love about this award is that you are being introduced to new blogs that you might not have read otherwise.

My Questions to Answer

Coffee or tea?

Always, always, ALWAYS tea. I don’t drink green tea or matcha, but I will drink any other kind of tea! I typically have 2 cups of black tea in the morning, and another 3-4 of herbal throughout the day. My favourite tea currently is plain ol’ Bewley’s Irish Breakfast Tea- wakes you up, a hint of honey, and a nice strong taste! I don’t ever drink coffee.

What is your go to outfit?

RW & Co red or black Modern Stretch Leggings, long sleeve striped tee, coordinating cardigan. Freed of London ballet flats with a Kate Spade purse!

Favourite book and why.

Well, I didn’t think this was going to be the question that caused hours of deliberation, but here we are. Two hours later, I’ve settled on The Book of Tomorrow or If You Could See Me Now, by Cecelia Ahern, and Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen! The first two captivated me and showed me how magic can be brought into a non-fantasy story and not feel “made-up”. Northanger Abbey is brilliant, being a novel satirising novels, and I will never falter from singing it’s praises!

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned recently?

Maybe I’m meant to a person in the background, and that’s okay!

List the top 5 places you’ve visited.

1.Dublin, IE. Technically I lived here, but it feels like home.
2.London, UK. If you are tired of London, you are tired of life.
3. Waterton, AB. Absolutely breathtaking, you couldn’t find a more dramatic landscape if you tried.
4. Edinburgh, UK. The Royal Mile captivated my heart, and I had a fantastic time with my mom!
5.Berlin, DE. Tiffany took care of Angela and me, and showed us so many hidden gems in this complicated but beautiful city!

How has blogging helped you?

It has given me an outlet for my thoughts, ideas, and creativity! It’s also given me another community to engage and interact with, and I’ve made some terrific friends along the way. I am lucky enough to have all positive blogging experiences, and I’m more than thankful for everyone along the way!!

Are you more of a night on the town person or a homebody?

Homebody- I like to be in bed by 10. 11 on the weekend if I’m crazy. This dork needs 8 hours of sleep, yo.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People being excessively late with no warning, or repeatedly doing so. By being late, you are saying, “Your time isn’t as valuable as mine,” whether you mean it or not.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Other than continuing to go back to Ireland and the UK to visit friends and family, I suppose it would have to be the Scandinavian countries! They look to be breathtaking, the history is spectacular, and there are some gorgeous royal palaces that I would love to tour.

What’s your favourite concert you’ve gone to and why?

Michael Bublé, 15 July, 2013, O2 Arena (Dublin, IE). M bought me tickets for my birthday, we hadn’t been dating long, and it was an amazing concert! Bubbles puts on a fantastic show, very entertaining with a few hints of Canada here and there. We went to the Bull and Castle for dinner first, and then headed to the arena! It had all of my favourite songs (aside from the Christmas ones, obviously), and it was with my favourite person- a perfect night!

Who inspires you the most in your everyday life?

Hmmmm, I don’t have one answer to that. I have a handful of family and friends who are there for me no matter what, and they are what keep me going through the hard times. People who are willing to listen to me, make me laugh when I need it, and tell me I’m crazy because I am are the people who inspire me 🙂 Not on a day to day basis, I find a handful of ballet dancers and historians inspiring (some of whom I’ve had the pleasure to meet).

Thank you so much for the nomination! You have asked really interesting questions so I am looking forward to doing this tag in the next few days 🙂
You had great answers – like you I need to be in bed by 10 othwerwise I get really grumpy. I’ve picked you “If you could see me now” several times but have never started reading it.
And I agree 100% about the late thing. If someone is always running late it’s basically saying my time is more important than yours.

Once again thanks so much for the nomination. I will let you know when I do this tag.

    Have a great weekend!
