Trial: Pull Apart Garlic Rolls

Anyone who has Facebook has probably become very familiar seeing those Tasty videos, the ones where they make whatever dish in 45 seconds through the magic of sped-up video! I’ve seen a few things made by other people; some turn out very well, some turn out…. not so well. However, I saw one that jumped out at me and decided to give it a try!

For those wondering, the video can be found right here! Those videos look deceptively easy, but I figured that this one couldn’t go too wrong.

From Tasty:

Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C

1 tube refrigerated biscuits
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Cut biscuits into fourths, and place in a large mixing bowl. Add the butter, garlic powder, parsley, and mozzarella, and mix with your hands, coating all of the biscuit pieces. Place the pieces in a muffin tin, 3 pieces per tin (you’ll have 2 extra—just use them in whichever tin you want). Bake for 15 minutes. Best served fresh out of the oven!

Changes I’ve Made

-I used pizza dough instead of biscuits!

These turned out perfectly!! They are delicious and buttery and garlicy and mozarella-y and certainly worth making. They received rave reviews from all five people who tried them! The only slight negative is that your hands get a touch mucky when you mix it together, but worth it for these.

For my first Tasty video, I am impressed. It was easy, straight forward, and didn’t take long at all. I’m going to try another making another one of these recipes soon, fingers crossed they turn out as well!

Have you made any Tasty recipes? How did it turn out?

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!

So sad about no refrigerator biscuits here 😦 I did find croissants in a roll a couple times but they’re scarce. Did you ever come across biscuits when you were living here in Ireland? Recipe sounds amazing!

I’m trying to remember- there was a shoppe on Fownes Street Upper (off College Green) that sold American items, and they may have had Pillsbury items! Not sure if that is a feasible trip for you, though :s

There is a shop here in Galway called Candyland that sells the same, but, zowie!, very expensive.

There was a €9 jar of pb at the shop in Dublin, and I remember physically cringing! When cravings call, you have to make tough choices 😢
