Bonjour, lovely readers! Here I am with November’s instalment of Blogs I Follow! I am constantly finding new blogs to follow, and I love reading other author’s recommendations, so I’m sharing my current favourites!
I don’t remember how I found careofmon, but I have and I refuse to go back! It’s a fantastic prep blog that is genuine and earnest, which is rare to find. She has a good range of topics, including fashion, books, and travel. (Hitting all of my buzzwords, conveniently….) Her voice is lively and engaging and makes you want to keep reading, and it’s the perfect balance of words to photos. My favourite posts? The Fair Isle Sweater and Head of the Charles Recap.
If you are like me and enjoy shopping, it is wonderful to have one site list all of the major sales of the stores you like in one place. It isn’t just sale updates, though- there are also trend reports, which are useful to someone like me who stays classic and doesn’t always spot trends! My favourite posts? New Lululemon Sales and Trend Alert: Winter Coats!
The year I lived in Ireland was certainly the best year in my life- everything changed! Henceforth, this blog allows me to relive a small part of my time in Ireland. Quite simply, it is a blog of everything Ireland, and I couldn’t love it more. My favourite posts? Cliffs of Moher and Ashford Castle!
I love me a cozy, quiet book blog, and this DELIVERS. Kimberly reviews quite a range of books, and has lovely features such as Top 10 Tuesdays that allow her to touch on many more books. It is solely about books, and honestly, that is what brings me back- I know exactly what she will post about. My favourite posts? The Best Time to Buy a Book is All the Time and Top 10 Book to Movie Adaptations!
I’m a million years late to following this blog, I will fully admit that. A lot of major lifestyle bloggers don’t have jobs outside of their blogs, henceforth I find that their lifestyle writing is skewed. Krista works for the MLB, a cool job to start with (Go Yankees!!), and while she is gifted a lot of items, she also purchases a lot on her own, which I appreciate. My favourite posts? Holiday Skirt Haul and Blogging Bloopers Part 2 (she’s a REAL person)!
Honourable Mention: The Diamond Nest
Another young Canadian NPC sorority alumna?? SIGN ME UP. She is an AOII alumna, and it is nice to hear from other Canadian sorority women (not sure why we are so rare, but apparently we are). Favourite post? 5 Things I Learned From Being in a Sorority
