Style Saturday- 25 July 2015

I got a LOT of shopping done in SLC- M was pretty much a saint for spending that much time in stores! I had great success, and found far more than I thought I would. Apparently sales are a lot better in the States than in Canada, so I took advantage of that. I will start with the first half this week:

If you weren’t already aware from all of my posts, I adore Kate Spade. And because of this, I have been on the hunt for Kate Spade Keds for a while. Annnnnd, what happens? I find them!

1) Keds x kate spade new york Champion Love, Keds/Kate Spade

These shoes are super comfy, and casual but still cute! It has the gold spade on the heel, and a Kate Spade tag on the tongue. I like that although there is a pattern, the monochrome stops it from being incredibly busy! Found these at Nordstrom Rack for only THIRTY DOLLARS. THIRTY!!!! (Big thank you to Jillayne for recommending I try out Nordstrom Rack!)

2) Keds x kate spade new york Double Decker June Stripe, Keds/Kate Spade

I actually found this pair first at Nordstrom, and fell in love with them. I originally walked away because Nordstrom had them priced at $95, a little steep for sneakers, even Kate Spade sneakers. I checked and saw that they were on sale for $55 on the Keds website, so we went back, and M got the salesmen to agree to match the price! (Best boyfriend ever right there, in case you were wondering) I love them because they are a little less casual, and they also have a Hudson Bay vibe to them! Again, I love the Spade detailing on the heel!

3) Idiom Pencils, Kate Spade

Not a clothing item, but an amazing find? Kate Spade pencils for only $10, usually $20! Dillards was having a moving sale and everything was discounted, so I jumped on it and grabbed them! They are thinner than standard pencils, but I have small hands and I don’t mind. They match my Kate Spade planner, and now I will know if people are stealing my pencils!

4) Sì, Giorgio Armani

I swung into Sephora to check out the perfumes as usual, and found this one! It is similar to the Givenchy and Gucci scents I have (floral, woodsy), and I am really enjoying it. I bought a rollerball travel size of it- for a few reasons. 1) To see if I really like it (turns out I do), and 2) to test out a rollerball! (I think I like rollerballs, I will need to do more testing). It must be favourite, several of the people working there commented on how much they like the scent!

That was my Kate Spade plus perfume finds! The rest of my purchases will be next Saturday 🙂

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!

I actually really enjoy it! And I can see what you mean about rollerballs not throwing the scent the same way!
