The tallest post I’ve ever written

This post is coming to you from cruising altitude (can’t remember what that is- 10,000 or 12,000 feet)! I sprung for the $17.95 USD internet on the plane to make the flight go a little bit faster. Where am I going you ask? To SLC to see M! If I hadn’t gotten up at 3am today, I probably would be bouncing out of my seat. Some thoughts I’ve had as of lately, and by lately I mean the last two hours:

Please don’t recline your seat. All it means is that you are taking space from the person behind you who then can’t have a drink because they don’t have anywhere to put it because they can’t put their tray down. I paid the same amount of money as you (more, most likely- Canadians get scammed on flight prices), please don’t take away the little space I have. 😦

Tim Hortons self-serves are oddly organised- why do you have the milk and sugar machine before the coffee and tea? You add those after. Canadian mystery to be solved at a later date, I suppose.

To the guy who has the Minion alarm (BEE-DO BEE-DO BEE-DO) as a text alert on your phone- you are my hero. I have to find that tone.

I am already into reading Christmas fiction again- it’s never too early to start, quite frankly. I also bought a book for my Kobo while waiting for my first flight, Love and Liability. I read the first by Katie Oliver and quite enjoyed it. I like that she takes the very loose idea of Jane Austen but doesn’t attempt to copy it too closely. Austen re-writes are a tad over done, but this is a nice nod to her without going overboard.

Until tomorrow,
The Historian!
