I will be jumping out of my skin in excitement on my way to Ireland, and in an attempt to minimise the fright placed on those around me, I will mostly be reading all day. I know that I can’t buy any new books before my trip but I will let myself buy books for the trip. What will I buy, you ask? Let me tell you:
Shades of Honey and Milk, Mary Robinette Kowal
This was recommended to me by Katelynne, and although people seem critical on Goodreads, I’m always up for a book based on Jane Austen!
Matriarch: Queen Mary and the House of Windsor, Anne Edwards
This looks like it could be very interesting. I actually know little about Mary of Teck!
The Tea Rose, Jennifer Donnelly
A book that has been on my to-read list for years. I do love historical fiction, although I am not a huge fan of stories taking place in the US, but it still looks interesting.
A Very British Murder, Lucy Worsley
Worsley’s Courtiers is one of my favourite books, and her study of the home is fascinating, too. I have watched the 3 part BBC series version of this book, so I think it is finally time to give it a read!
Corpse Pose, Diana Killian
Like I don’t mention this all of the time, I LOVE COZIES, and this is about yoga!
Backstage Murder, Shelley Freydont
A COZY ABOUT BALLET. A COZY ABOUT BALLET!!!!!
